We weren’t made to do life alone...

This week, I’ve been reflecting on the importance of community.
In a world that often glorifies doing everything on your own, it’s easy to think that needing others is a weakness. The truth is, we’ve been designed to connect with others.
We need people to lean on, to share our joys and struggles with, and to grow with.
There’s a lot of messaging nowadays around cutting ties with anything or anyone that causes discomfort—being ‘strict’ with your time, energy, effort, and being emotionally guarded. While healthy boundaries are absolutely essential, we must also be open to stretching ourselves for the people we care about. Loving sacrificially, showing up for others, and being generous with our time and presence—these are the things that make relationships truly meaningful.
Life feels richer when we nurture deep, meaningful connections, both with ourselves and with others. I pray we all find the courage to lean into that kind of love and community, not just for our own sake, but for the good of those around us.
WITH LOVE,
FEYISOLA
